Augmented special project staff assigned to Logistics Health, Inc. and ultimately, OptumServe – a division of United Health Group for the coordination, training, and monitoring of Covid-19 response protocols, specifically in training healthcare personnel setting up and running testing sites throughout the United States in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

  • Coordinated training protocols, organized site setup and maintenance for frontline healthcare workers engaged in Covid-19 testing.

  • Managed accounts throughout the states of Indiana, North Carolina, California, and New Jersey, as well as the entire Warner Media account.

Enhanced student learning by establishing an asynchronous tutor training program for peer educators who were providing Learning Assistance as part of campus employment. Leveraged personal experience and national resources to replicate in-person training within a national app- based environment in accordance with professional association rules / certifications. An online training program was successfully created and certified.

  • Acquisition of $25,000 Lumina Foundation award at LIFTed 2019.

  • Formed the Knack Academic Council to include a mission-focused team.

  • Integrated International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) methodologies offered by CRLA (College Reading and Language Association).

Direct initiatives and manage staff of 150+ to reinforce academic policies and best practices that support student achievement.  Consulted and facilitated Learning Assistance at an institution of 50,000+ to centralize processes and support. Audited and refined modalities that influence student population and guided efforts to modernize operations. 

  • Chartered the consolidation process of the USF system as related to Academic Success Programs.

  • Assisted University in achievement of statewide preeminence for FTIC retention and senior graduation levels.

  • Presented “The Modern Learning Center in Context” at the 2018 UniNorte Global Conference, in Colombia, South America, representing USF World and delivering workshops on perspectives on education and Learning Sciences.

Served in dual roles as Adjunct Professor of Educational Studies and Educational Advisor.  Spearheaded and contributed to strategic planning for academic offerings and social programs including First-Year Initiative for College of Education, and pilot programs for Pre-Allied Health majors and Veterans Coaching. Oversaw budget to form training and research programs. Introduced and implemented assessment tools and practices, coaching and counseling techniques, and workshops targeting key learning outcomes. Administered disciplinary action and probation mandates for behavioral and academic intervention.

  • Collaborated with Marketing Goal Team in establishing print/digital materials and promotional marketing.

  • Launched Learning Assistance Center social media accounts tracking 1,000 impressions per post and improved awareness of diverse activities within the office.

  • Increased College to College retention for FTIC, university retention, and first year GPA for participants in the pilot program leading to the adoption of the program for all students.

Conceived and presided over the Performing Arts department, music programs, and band to work in conjunction with choir and theatre programs. Added Music Minor to courses and curriculum in music. Served in two-role capacity, also serving as Adjunct Professor of History and Education. Improved college visibility, expanded program offerings, and increased student enrollment. Maintained web-space and social media, budget and routed fundraising endeavors. Steered Performing Arts department to participation and gold medal victories in national and international competitions.

  • Participated and recruited at DCI/WGI/BOA World Championships and local drum corps/band events.

  • Acquired budget of $300,000-$1.2M to incorporate concert band, pep band, chamber ensembles, indoor percussion, and indoor color guard to meet the instructional, performance and travel needs of the student body.

  • Led campus and on-line courses in the Department of History and Division of Education.

  • Fundraising Chair for the Performing Arts – organized events that increased yield by 250%.

Worked in dual roles as Facilitator/Principal for Alternative High School & Social Studies Teacher for the traditional day-school. 

  • Directed operations and administration including talent acquisition, payroll and audits, student mediations and conflict resolution. 

  • Delivered guidance and provided evaluations to faculty and staff on programs, curriculum, instruction, and classroom performance.

  • Taught coursework in American History, Global History and Geography, Criminal Justice, Advanced Placement (AP) World History II, AP World History I, AP United States Government and Politics.
